Parent Enrollment Agreement

Last updated: June 2, 2026

This Agreement is between Genny AI, a DBA of Kitchanga, LLC, operating the Genny AI Academy program (“Genny,” “we,” “us”), and the parent or legal guardian who enrolls a teen (“Participant”). By registering, you agree to the following on your own behalf and on behalf of your teen.

The program

  • “Build Your First App with AI” — a live, instructor-led 4-week Bootcamp teaching teens to build a real web app using AI tools.
  • Ages 13–17. Delivered live and 100% remotely: two ~60-minute live sessions per week for 4 weeks, plus a weekly office-hours block and optional one-on-one tutoring. Groups of up to 5.
  • The Bootcamp concludes with a live virtual Showcase, where teens present their projects to their parents over video.

Tuition, payment & scholarships

Tuition is $397 per Participant per Bootcamp, processed securely via Stripe. A limited number of scholarship seats, funded by Genny’s business work, may be available at Genny’s discretion. A seat is reserved only when tuition is paid or a scholarship is awarded in writing.

Refunds & cancellation

You may withdraw your teen and receive a full refund of tuition any time before the start of the second live session, for any reason, by emailing [email protected]. After the second session begins, tuition is non-refundable except as required by law. If Genny cancels a Bootcamp, you receive a full refund. Subject to availability, you may request to move your teen to a later Bootcamp instead.

AI tools — disclosure & consent

Your teen will learn to build using Lovable and related AI tools under instructor supervision, as part of an organized supervised event Genny registers with the tool in advance. By enrolling you consent to your teen using these tools for the Bootcamp. AI tools generate content automatically and are not perfectly filtered; the instructor moderates the live environment. Teens are instructed not to enter personal or sensitive information into AI tools.

Recording & media consent

Every live session is recorded for safety, quality, and parent access. Recordings are stored securely, are not published publicly, are available to the enrolled teen’s parent, and are retained through the Bootcamp + 90 days (deleted sooner on written request, absent a safety or legal hold). The virtual Showcase may be recorded; using a clip in marketing is optional and only with your separate consent at registration.

Child safety (our commitments)

  • The instructor has completed an independent, third-party background check, shareable with you on request before your teen logs on.
  • No unobserved one-on-one contact. One-on-one tutoring is permitted only when fully observable: one-on-one video is automatically recorded and shared with you promptly.
  • No private messaging for teens. The platform technically prevents a teen account from starting or receiving any private direct message — with staff or anyone else. Any one-on-one help happens over auto-recorded video, and all text discussion takes place in group community channels you can observe.
  • The program, including the Showcase, is fully remote. Genny never takes physical custody of your teen.
  • Genny will report suspected abuse or imminent risk to the appropriate authorities as required.

Conduct, privacy & liability

Teens are expected to be respectful and use the tools appropriately; Genny may remove a Participant for harmful or disruptive conduct or tool misuse. We handle personal information per our Privacy Policy. You accept the ordinary risks of an online program; to the fullest extent permitted by law, Genny’s total liability is limited to the tuition you paid. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York.
